Market Yard in Pune saw a significant drop in prices for onions, tomatoes, and cauliflowers, with a decrease of 10 to 15 percent. This change was attributed to the increased arrivals of fruits and vegetables from various parts of Maharashtra and neighboring states. Despite the drop in prices for some items, others like shevga (drumsticks) remained stable.

Leafy vegetables like coriander and fenugreek also experienced a decrease in prices, while mint, spinach, and ambad remained stable. Around 1.5 lakh pairs of coriander and 70,000 pairs of fenugreek arrived at the market on Sunday, with prices ranging from ₹400 to ₹1,000 for coriander and ₹500 to ₹800 for fenugreek.

In the fruit section, prices remained stable overall, with a few exceptions like sweet lime, watermelon, muskmelon, and papaya seeing a slight dip. Oranges, guava, custard apple, and pineapple maintained steady prices. Sunday arrivals included 70-80 tons of oranges, watermelons, and 30-40 tempos of papayas.

Traders at the Pune wholesale market are managing seasonal produce and varying demand, resulting in fluctuations in arrivals and pricing. Overall, the market continues to see a mix of stable prices and slight changes in various fruits and vegetables.
