Tragedy struck Chandni Chowk on the Katraj Dehu Road Bypass of the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway today as a fatal accident involving an MSRTC bus and a two-wheeler took place. One rider lost their life in the collision, while another suffered serious injuries.
The MSRTC bus, a freight vehicle, reportedly lost control and crashed into several other vehicles, causing injuries to at least 5 to 6 individuals. According to DCP (Zone 3) Sambhaji Kadam, the bus collided with a mixer truck before hitting commuters on the road. The injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment, and traffic in the area has been cleared.
