The manager of the parlour, Lokesh Rajkumar Puri, is in hot water for allegedly luring young women into the world of prostitution with promises of quick cash.
Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Chhaya Jadhav from the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit filed a complaint at the Kharadi Police Station after receiving a tip about the illegal activities going down at a massage parlour in Rajaram Patil Nagar. A raid was conducted, and several women were taken into custody.
It turns out that Puri was using the massage parlour as a front to recruit young women into the sex trade by tempting them with money. Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Chavan is on the case and is digging deeper into this shady operation.
Citizens had raised concerns about the suspicious activities at the parlour, prompting Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar to take swift action. Let’s hope this crackdown puts an end to such exploitation in our city.
