The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) recently criticized Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, in their weekly publication ‘Organiser’. They pointed out that the BJP performed poorly in the Lok Sabha Elections due to unnecessary politics and by aligning with Ajit Pawar, they diminished their value. This criticism has stirred up political controversy, with Ajit Pawar responding by stating that everyone has the right to speech in a democracy.

Ajit Pawar, who was in Pune for a planning meeting of Ashadi Ekadashi, addressed the media and chose not to delve into the RSS’s criticism. He emphasized the importance of focusing on development issues and executing important work. Pawar also dismissed rumors about Chhagan Bhujbal being upset over not securing a Rajya Sabha nomination, clarifying that Bhujbal is not sad.

The RSS’s criticism, as penned by Ratan Sharda in the ‘Organiser’, served as a wake-up call for the BJP. Sharda highlighted that the Lok Sabha elections revealed the overconfidence of BJP leaders and activists, who relied heavily on PM Narendra Modi’s charisma. The inclusion of Ajit Pawar’s NCP in Maharashtra was also criticized, as it shocked many BJP supporters who opposed the ideology of the Congress and led to a decrease in the BJP’s value.
