Hey Pune folks, exciting news for all you flat owners in Kharadi! Property cards for around 12,000 flat owners are set to be uploaded to the Mahabhumi portal within the next three months. This means detailed information about your property and ownership will be easily accessible online.

The process involved advanced tools like drones and rovers for surveying and mapping the area, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The final step of door-to-door inquiries is currently underway, with 50 deputy superintendents working hard to complete this phase within the next two-and-a-half months.

This initiative is part of a pilot project in Kharadi and Wadgaon Sheri, with plans to expand to other parts of Pune in the future. The goal is to streamline urban land records and reduce fraud in the real estate sector, ultimately benefiting property owners.

The project, which had been on hold for over a decade, was revived by Settlement Commissioner N.K. Sudhanshu. With the collaborative effort of deputy superintendents from five districts and the use of technology developed with the National Informatics Centre, significant progress is expected in the coming year.

Residents in other areas of Pune can also look forward to similar efforts in the near future. The initiative aims to bring transparency and efficiency to property records citywide, making it easier for property owners to access and verify important information.

So, if you’re a property owner in Pune, stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project that is set to revolutionize the way property records are managed in the city!
