Hey there, Pune folks! Here’s some shocking news coming your way. Nine people, including a police sub-inspector and five other police personnel, have been booked for using brutal interrogation tactics on a woman at the Samarth Police Station.
The 25-year-old victim was seriously injured after being ruthlessly beaten up during the incident that occurred on March 23, 2023, around 8 pm. She bravely lodged a complaint on June 13, and now justice is being sought.
The accused individuals, including the victim’s husband, have been charged under various sections of the IPC for their actions. The victim had initially filed a complaint against two friends of her husband, leading to the verbal abuse and threats from him and his friends.
During her interrogation at the Samarth Police Station, the woman was subjected to physical assault and verbal threats by the police personnel involved. It’s a disturbing situation, to say the least.
