With the anticipation of Eid al-Adha celebrations in Pune tomorrow, temporary traffic changes near Golibar Maidan have been announced. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rohidas Pawar has shared details of the changes to ensure the smooth flow of public Namaz prayers at the maidan.

Starting at 6 AM tomorrow, traffic near Golibar Maidan Chowk, Mamma Devi Chowk, and Dhole Patil Chowk will be redirected to alternate routes. This is to prevent congestion and facilitate the Namaz prayers.

For those traveling from Golibar Chowk to Swargate, an alternate route via CDO Chowk and Seven Loves Chowk is suggested. Vehicles from CDO Chowk to Golibar Chowk can take routes through Khatav Bungalow Chowk or Wanowrie Bazar. Additionally, vehicles from Seven Loves Chowk can go through Salisbury Park and CDO Chowk to reach their destination.

Heavy vehicles coming from Kondhwa to Golibar Maidan will be diverted via Gangadham Chowk during the morning hours.

The Namaz prayers are expected to take place from 7 AM to 10 AM, with the possibility of additional sessions on other grounds. Further traffic changes may be implemented as needed.

Stay informed and plan your travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience during the Eid al-Adha celebrations in Pune.
