The incident of road rage in Mundhwa, Pune has left citizens shocked and concerned about their safety. A family was attacked for honking in traffic, escalating into a violent confrontation with serious injuries sustained by the victims.

Rajesh Nathoba Waghchoure, along with his wife and daughter, was driving towards Koregaon Park when he honked at the car ahead due to traffic congestion. The occupants of the other vehicle, Raju Gaikwad and his son Shubham Gaikwad, became enraged and confronted the Waghchoure family. The argument turned violent, with the Gaikwads verbally abusing and physically assaulting the family using a weapon shaped like a tiger claw.

Eyewitnesses tried to intervene, but the attackers remained aggressive until the Mundhwa police arrived and arrested both Raju and Shubham Gaikwad. The police have launched an investigation and registered a case against the attackers, revealing their history of criminal activities.
