The six culprits arrested are from various places like Uttar Pradesh, Ahilyanagar, Mumbai, and Uttarakhand. They have been booked for wrongful confinement, causing hurt, common intention, and criminal intimidation.

According to reports, the victim, a 35-year-old man, had left Tiruvannamalai on 6th January headed for Mumbai. He managed to call his family on 9th January to inform them about his plight. Pune Police got wind of the situation and sprung into action.

After an intense search in areas like Phursungi, Kunjirwadi, Shewalwadi, and Shikrapur Nagar Road, the police finally located the victim on January 10th and nabbed all the suspects. The motive behind the kidnapping was reportedly linked to a financial dispute.
