It seems like the party was over for two orchestra bars in Pune District’s Maval Taluka as authorities cracked down on their late-night operations. The Kamshet Police Station of Pune Rural Police, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Satyasai Karthik, conducted a midnight raid on Deepa Bar & Restaurant in Kamshet and Flavours Bar and Restaurant in Vadgaon Maval.

These bars were caught serving food and liquor to customers past the permitted hours, all while keeping the orchestra playing. Not only were they violating rules, but they were also facing charges at Kamshet and Vadgaon Maval Police Stations. And this wasn’t the first time they were in trouble; similar actions were taken against them last year.

The operation was a joint effort with Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh, Additional Superintendent of Police Ramesh Chopade, and ASP Satyasai Karthik from Lonavala Division overseeing the operation. Looks like these bars will have to learn to play by the rules from now on.
