The Empress Botanical Garden in Pune was a hub of creativity on January 12, 2025, as children showcased their painting and handwriting skills in a vibrant competition. With around 900 to 1,000 participants from various schools in the city, the event was a colorful display of talent and imagination.

Divided into age-based categories, children had the opportunity to unleash their creativity with themes such as “Flower Pot,” “Clock,” “Different Professions,” and more. The free participation made the event accessible to all, ensuring a diverse and inclusive group of participants.

Prominent members of the Empress Botanical Garden team, including Suresh Pingle and Anupama Barve, were present to witness the young talents in action. Special guest Yashwant Khaire added to the excitement of the day.

Speaking at the event, Suresh Pingle emphasized the importance of nurturing artistic skills in children and announced that the winners would be recognized during the Flower Exhibition’s closing day later in the month.

The event was not only a competition but also a celebration of talent, with children expressing their creativity and connecting with others in a picturesque setting. Parents and teachers praised the initiative for providing a platform for skill development and public acknowledgment of young talents. It was indeed a day filled with colors, creativity, and community spirit at the Empress Botanical Garden.
