Well, well, well, it seems like the infamous Katraj-Kondhwa road was the scene of a failed robbery attempt recently. Three robbers thought they could get away with ₹3.5 lakh in cash from a petrol pump worker, but little did they know that Salim Sikander Sheikh wasn’t going down without a fight.

Salim, a brave resident of Khadakwasla, was on his way to deposit the day’s earnings at a bank when the thugs attacked him with a wooden stick. Ouch! They must have thought they had an easy target, but Salim wasn’t about to let them get away with his hard-earned money.

Despite sustaining injuries during the scuffle, Salim managed to hold onto the cash bag tightly. His screams for help caught the attention of nearby residents, forcing the robbers to flee in a hurry. Talk about a close call!

The authorities wasted no time in responding to the incident, with Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil, Assistant Commissioner Rahul Aware, and Senior Inspector Dashrath Patil all making their way to the scene. A case has been registered against the culprits, and Assistant Police Inspector Shende is on the case to track them down.

Looks like these robbers picked the wrong guy to mess with. Hopefully, they’ll be brought to justice soon and Salim can go back to his job at the petrol pump in peace. Stay safe out there, folks!
