Hey there, folks! Exciting news coming in from Pune – Devyani Pawar, a young entrepreneur and member of the Baramati Hub of the Global Shapers Community, has been selected to represent India at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. How cool is that?
Devyani is one of the lucky two Indians chosen to be part of a special delegation of 50 delegates from the Global Shapers Community. This community is all about young leaders coming together to tackle local, regional, and global challenges. With over 500 local hubs worldwide, these changemakers are making a real difference.
And why was Devyani chosen, you ask? Well, she’s been doing some pretty amazing work in Baramati. From planting over 4,000 native trees to providing sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene awareness to rural women, she’s been making waves. Not to mention the skilling of over 4,000 youngsters from rural backgrounds and initiatives like blood donation drives and mental health awareness. Talk about impressive!
Devyani herself is thrilled about the opportunity to learn and network with global leaders at Davos. She’s particularly looking forward to a special session with Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum. Her focus is on exploring collaborations and learning opportunities for India and her fellow Indian hubs.
So, here’s to Devyani Pawar – a young Indian making waves on the global stage. We can’t wait to see what she achieves at the World Economic Forum in Davos!
