Hey Pune folks, did you hear about the Net Zero Accelerator Awards presented by ISHRAE Pune Chapter at the Green Conclave-2025? Former Cabinet Minister Environment, Prakash Javadekar, was there to hand out the awards at the carbon-neutral event held at Suzlon One Earth in Magarpatta. The event was all about promoting sustainable lifestyles and recognizing organizations making a difference in reducing carbon footprint.
Javadekar highlighted the importance of adopting principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, just like PM Modi has been championing. He commended the government’s efforts in renewable energy and waste management, and praised ISHRAE for recognizing Net Zero contributions.
Some of the organizations recognized at the event included The Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative, Bajaj Auto Limited Chakan Plant – II, School of Energy and Environment-NICMAR University, Climate Nama Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women. XSIO Logistics Park, Enpro HQ, Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd., Belimo Automation India Pvt. Ltd., Amdocs IT Office, Grape County Eco Resort and Spa, and Vulkan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. were also acknowledged for their efforts in achieving Net Zero goals.
