Hey there, folks! It looks like we’re in for a bit of a heatwave in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra. According to experts, this hot weather is expected to stick around for the next few days, keeping those temperatures nice and toasty. But don’t worry, relief is on the way – after the next three to four days, we should see a drop in both the minimum and maximum temperatures.
And it’s not just Pune feeling the heat – Mumbai’s Santacruz area saw temperatures soar to a scorching 34.5°C, a whopping 4°C above normal. Over in Ratnagiri, things were even hotter with a high of 36.1°C, a staggering 4.9°C above the average. Even Pune’s maximum temperature of 34.6°C was well above the seasonal norm, and the Lohgaon area hit a minimum of 17.7°C, a significant 6.6°C higher than usual.
But don’t sweat it too much – things are expected to cool down later this week. While this heatwave is definitely a departure from our usual winter weather, it’s a good reminder to stay hydrated and take care of yourself during these hot days. Stay cool, Pune!
