1. Paradise Holidays in Aundh, Pune has recently come under scrutiny for allegedly defrauding customers out of more than Rs 11 lakh.
  2. The director of the travel company, Ravindra Babaji Shendkar, is facing charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal breach of trust and cheating.
  3. The incident took place between February and June of this year at the company’s office in Aundh’s Bremen Chowk.
  4. Abhishek Manikrao Nanaware, a resident of Market Yard, filed a complaint with the Chaturshringi Police Station regarding the fraudulent activities of Paradise Holidays.
  5. Nanaware had paid Rs 70,000 for a trip to Jammu and Kashmir that was allegedly never fulfilled by the travel company.
  6. It is reported that Shendkar not only took money from Nanaware but also from two other customers for the same trip, resulting in a total loss of Rs 11,00,797.
  7. Chaturshringi Police are currently investigating the matter to bring justice to the affected customers and hold the director of Paradise Holidays accountable for his actions.
