Former PMC corporator Baburao Chandere has found himself in hot water after an alleged attack on a realtor and his employee in Susgaon. The incident, which took place on Saturday afternoon, led to a complaint being filed by the employee, claiming that Chandere had slapped him and pushed his employer. The complainant also accused Chandere of throwing stones, resulting in a head injury.

Chandere, however, has denied the allegations, stating that the work being done was part of a government drainage project and not on the realtor’s property. He claimed that it was the realtor and his team who instigated the altercation by throwing stones at the workers.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has condemned the incident, emphasizing that no one is above the law, regardless of political affiliation. Pawar attempted to contact Chandere, who was attending a flag-hoisting ceremony at the time, but later managed to have a conversation with him.

The police have issued a notice to Chandere to provide his statement regarding the incident, and investigations are ongoing. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
