The new campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including an administrative building, research wing, auditorium, convention hall, and art gallery. This infrastructure is designed to foster innovation and academic excellence, positioning PIC as a hub for innovative policy research.
The inauguration ceremony included the unveiling of a Buddha statue, symbolizing peace and intellectual growth, as well as a performance of the national anthem by students from Jnana Prabodhini. PIC’s executive committee members highlighted the center’s vision to challenge Delhi’s monopoly on policy research and attract top talent to produce impactful research.
With goals to attract research fellows, produce a high volume of research papers annually, and push forward with the vision of PIC 2.0, the organization aims to establish itself as a key player in India’s policy landscape. Through its commitment to involving youth in policy research and producing evidence-based policies, PIC is poised to bring about positive social change and establish Pune as a global hub for policy research and innovation.
