Hey Pune folks, it looks like the heatwave is hitting us hard! Temperatures in the city have been on the rise, with the maximum temperature reaching a scorching 37.5°C in Koregaon Park. The IMD is predicting even higher temperatures in the next couple of days, so make sure to stay cool and hydrated.

Even the mornings aren’t providing much relief, with a slight increase in minimum temperatures. Haveli saw a low of 13.6°C, while areas like NDA, Shivajinagar, and Pashan were hovering around 14-15°C.

As the day progressed, temperatures soared above 35°C in several areas including Koregaon Park, Vadgaon Sheri, Dapodi, Shivajinagar, NDA, and Magarpatta. It’s definitely a good time to break out the sunscreen and stay indoors if possible.

The IMD is forecasting partly cloudy skies for the next couple of days, with occasional fog and a possible rise in minimum temperatures. So be prepared for some mixed weather conditions.
