Hey folks, exciting news coming your way from Shivajinagar! Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently unveiled the Skill India Digital Hub platform in Marathi language at the Vishwa Marathi Sammelan 2025 in Pune. This platform is set to revolutionize the skilling ecosystem in Maharashtra by providing valuable content in the local language.

The Marathi version of SIDH will offer over 7000 skill courses, including Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Drone technology. This initiative aims to break language barriers and empower citizens with essential information in their mother tongue.

The event was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, along with other dignitaries like Uday Samant, Shrirang Barne, and Smt Neelam Gorhe. CEO of NSDC, Ved Mani Tiwari, was also honored for his instrumental role in shaping SIDH into a pioneering initiative.

With Maharashtra being among the top five states in terms of registrations, the unveiling of the Marathi version is expected to further boost the popularity of skilling courses. Over 43,000 female users have already enrolled in various courses, with IT-ITeS, entrepreneurship, and electronics being the top sectors attracting enrolment.

This move aligns with the National Education Policy 2020, emphasizing the importance of regional language communication in education and skill development. The aim is to enable the youth of Maharashtra to seamlessly integrate into India’s employment and digital skilling ecosystem.

SIDH is a comprehensive platform that provides access to skilling opportunities, career guidance, and apprenticeship opportunities. With Maharashtra aiming to become a USD 1 trillion economy by 2028, initiatives like this are crucial in bridging the skill gap and preparing the workforce for the future.

The Marathi version of SIDH will serve as a bridge between aspirations and opportunities, connecting youth with industry partners and apprenticeship opportunities. This is a step towards making India the skill capital of the world.

Exciting times ahead for skilling in Maharashtra! Stay tuned for more updates on this game-changing initiative.
