Hey Pune peeps, we’ve got some good news for you! The planned power outage in Shivajinagar, Deccan, and Ganeshkhind areas on February 1 has been postponed. That’s right, you can now enjoy uninterrupted electricity supply for your weekend plans!
Originally, the outage was supposed to happen to make way for some important work on the Pune Metro and Mahapareshan’s high-voltage power lines. The substations at Ganeshkhind, Chinchwad, and Kothrud were all set to be shut down, causing a power disruption from 8 am to 8 pm on Saturday. But guess what? The authorities have decided to hold off on the maintenance work, so you can breathe easy knowing your lights will stay on.
So go ahead and make those weekend plans, because all MSEDCL substations in Shivajinagar, Ganeshkhind, and Deccan will be up and running as usual. And don’t worry, if there are any updates on when the maintenance work will be rescheduled, you’ll be the first to know. Happy weekend, Pune!
