Hey there, Pune peeps! The Pune Bar Association recently had its annual elections for the executive committee and boy, was it a heated competition! Adv Hemant Zanjad emerged victorious as the new President, beating out his rival Adv P Nalawade by a whopping 1,615 votes. Talk about a landslide victory!
But that’s not all – we’ve got new Vice-Presidents in town too. Adv Sameer Bhunde and Adv Surekha Bhosale snagged those positions with 3,333 and 1,919 votes respectively. Better luck next time to Adv Sagar Gaikwad and Adv Vanmala Anuse, who unfortunately didn’t make the cut.
And let’s not forget about the Secretaries. Adv Prithviraj Thorat and Adv Bhagyashree Gujar clinched those spots with 3,174 and 3,156 votes. Looks like they’ve got some big plans in store for the association!
Oh, and a round of applause for Adv Indrajit Bhoite, who was elected as the Treasurer. And shoutout to Adv Kedar Shitole, who ran unopposed and snagged the Auditor position.
All in all, the new Executive Body of the Pune Bar Association is shaping up to be a powerhouse team. With Adv Hemant Zanjad at the helm, we’re sure they’ll do great things for the legal community in Pune. Here’s to a successful year ahead!
