So, imagine you’re just trying to get a land registry done, minding your own business, when suddenly you’re hit with a demand for Rs 500 from the computer operator. Talk about unexpected fees! But hey, it could have been worse – they settled for Rs 400 instead. Small victories, right?
Well, turns out this wasn’t just an innocent mistake. The duo of computer operators were actually caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) after a complaint was filed. Looks like they messed with the wrong person this time.
Now, both of them are facing charges under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Yikes. The case has been registered at Bund Garden police station, and the investigation is being led by Police Inspector Shriram Shinde.
Props to Superintendent Shirish Sardeshpande and Additional Superintendent Dr. Sheetal Janve for overseeing the operation. Dr. Janve definitely played a key role in making sure justice was served. Looks like these computer operators won’t be pulling any more shady moves anytime soon.
