Residents of Vadgaon Sheri in Pune have been dealing with a frustrating water supply issue for the past three months. Many believe that the water shortage is no accident, as the water pressure has been consistently low, leading to incomplete filling of water tanks in the area.

Local MLA Bapusaheb Pathare has been trying to address the problem with the Pune Municipal Corporation, but so far, there has been no resolution. He plans to bring the issue to the attention of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, as the situation continues to worsen.

Despite having access to a large volume of water from dams supplying the city, residents are still not receiving adequate water supply. Some have resorted to purchasing water on their own to meet their needs.

The launch of the Bhama Askhed project was expected to improve the situation, but residents claim that nothing has changed. MLA Pathare suspects that there may be a political motive behind the water shortage, especially since the constituency is represented by an opposition party MLA.

If the issue is not resolved soon, Pathare intends to escalate the matter to Chief Minister Fadnavis and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar to demand action. In the meantime, residents are left frustrated and struggling to access a basic necessity like water.
