Hey Pune peeps, buckle up for some breaking news! The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pune is cracking down on vehicle dealers who have been selling vehicles without proper registration. Can you believe it?

Eleven dealers have been slapped with show cause notices by the Pune RTO, and let me tell you, not all of them are happy about it. Five of these dealers are right here in Pune, while the others are scattered across different cities. The Pune RTO has even roped in RTO offices in other cities to take action against these dealers. Talk about teamwork!

So, why all this drama, you ask? Well, it all started after the Kalyani Nagar Porsche incident, where the Pune RTO Flying Squad discovered eleven unregistered two-wheelers in operation. Yikes! The Pune RTO gave these dealers a deadline of seven days to respond to the notices. Those who failed to comply within the given time frame are in for some trouble.

Now, let’s talk about the naughty list. The dealers who received notices include Shelar TVS in Kharadi, Kunal Enterprises in Kondhwa, Yamaha Motor Showroom, Satav Automotive in Hadapsar, Kothari Wheels Honda in Kondhwa, and PR Automotive in Manjari. Looks like they’re in hot water!

What kind of actions are we talking about here? Well, the Pune RTO is considering canceling their trade certificates, which means they won’t be able to sell any vehicles for a certain period. In addition, their login IDs at the RTO office will be blocked. Ouch!

This is the first time the Pune RTO is taking such strict actions, and needless to say, the community is buzzing with chatter. What do you think about all this, Pune folks? Let’s keep an eye on how this unfolds!
