Pune, 22nd June 2024: In a recent coordination meeting led by Cooperation Minister Dilip Valse-Patil, officials from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) and villagers from Loni and Dhamani in Ambegaon taluka came together to discuss the Pune-Nashik Industrial Expressway project.

The meeting primarily focused on the potential benefits of the expressway for agriculture, industry, and employment generation in Ambegaon taluka. MSRDC officials reassured the farmers that their concerns regarding land tax would be taken into consideration, ensuring their cooperation for the highway project.

Among the attendees were MSRDC Pune Division Additional Collector Hanumant Argunde, Deputy Collector Land Acquisition Coordinator Kalyan Pande, Ambegaon Sub Divisional Officer Govind Shinde, Corporation Executive Engineer Ajay Bhosle, and local farmers.

Officials highlighted that the Pune-Nashik Industrial Expressway will be linked to the Samriddhi Highway, which is expected to attract more industries to the area and create employment opportunities. They also promised fair compensation to farmers for their land, further gaining the trust of the local community.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with farmers agreeing to collaborate and support the progress of the expressway project. This development paves the way for a smoother implementation of the much-awaited infrastructure project in the region.
