1. NCP MLA Dilip Mohite Patil’s nephew, Mayur Mohite, was involved in a tragic accident on the Pune-Nashik highway in Manchar.
2. Mayur Mohite was driving on the wrong side of the road and collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the death of a young man named Om alias Bunty Sunil Bhalerao.
3. The incident occurred on Saturday night around 9:30 PM when Mayur Mohite was overtaking a pickup truck at high speed.
4. Local residents, including Shubham Bhalerao, Sachin Viaal, and Shailesh Bhalerao, rushed to help Om Bhalerao, who had sustained serious head injuries.
5. Despite their efforts, Om Bhalerao was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
6. Om Bhalerao leaves behind his parents and one sister, as he was the only son of the Bhalerao family.
7. Mayur Mohite was apprehended by the locals and the incident was reported to the Manchar police station.
8. Officials from the Manchar police station are currently investigating the incident.
