Patients showing dengue-like symptoms have been admitted to Kamala Nehru Hospital for urgent treatment. The municipal authorities have started a comprehensive survey of the affected area to check the health of residents and provide necessary medical attention.
In response to the rising cases, the Municipal Corporation has issued notices to 560 residential and commercial establishments for mosquito breeding violations, resulting in fines totaling Rs 1,06,600. Health Department officials have found contaminated water tanks in several buildings and are taking steps to address the issue.
The Health Department is urging residents to eliminate mosquito breeding sites, such as stagnant water, and is conducting public awareness campaigns to educate citizens on the importance of maintaining clean surroundings.
