Hey there, folks! So, it looks like there’s been some trouble brewing at the Pune Metro construction site in Shivajinagar. Yep, you heard that right – a theft of construction materials worth a whopping ₹2.6 lakh has been reported. Yikes!

According to reports, the theft took place at the Kamgar Putla area between August and November last year while the Shivajinagar-Hinjewadi metro line was being built. Ritesh Pradhan, a 23-year-old security supervisor for the project, filed a complaint with the Shivajinagar Police Station after discovering the missing materials.

The cops are now on the case, with Assistant Inspector Rajkumar Kendra leading the investigation. It seems like this isn’t the first time something like this has happened at Pune Metro construction sites. Similar incidents have occurred in other areas like Chaturshringi and Khadki, with thieves making off with materials worth lakhs in recent months.

Let’s hope the authorities can track down the culprits and put an end to these thefts before any more damage is done. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story!
