Yerawada was rocked by a shocking incident recently, as a young man named Sayaji Sambhaji Dolare was arrested for causing chaos in the Laxmi Nagar area. The 23-year-old resident went on a destructive spree, vandalizing 12 auto-rickshaws and two motorcycles in the dead of night.
But Dolare didn’t stop there – he even took aim at a JCB machine, throwing stones at its windshield. When a brave local tried to intervene, Dolare turned violent and attacked them with a sharp weapon before making a hasty escape.
Thankfully, the long arm of the law caught up with Dolare on Saturday, after an intense search operation. And in a bold move, the police decided to parade him through the very streets where he had wreaked havoc. It was a sight to behold as Dolare was led through Laxmi Nagar Chowk, under the watchful eye of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
This whole operation was executed under the watchful guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav, with Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Kumar Shelke at the helm. Yerawada residents can rest a little easier now, knowing that justice has been served.
