The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture (MCCIA) is gearing up to host the Pune International Business Summit 2025 on Feb 24-25, with a focus on boosting local industry and strengthening international business connections. The summit, set to take place over two days at a venue on Senapati Bapat Road, is expected to see at least 75 delegates in attendance, including 13 international officials from Europe, Asia, and America. Around 50 companies will be participating, aiming to establish partnerships with local businesses.
Some notable dignitaries expected at the event include Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) CEO P Velrasu, US Consul General Mike Hankey, and KPIT Technologies Chairman Ravi Pandit. The conference will feature theme-based sessions on topics such as artificial intelligence, future mobility, food processing, and technology.
In a recent media interaction, MCCIA Director-General Prashant Girbane highlighted Pune’s growing appeal as a business hub, particularly in the manufacturing and automotive sectors. He mentioned the emergence of Global Capability Centres (GCC) in Pune, with more global companies establishing a presence in the city. Despite this progress, Pune still trails behind cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi in terms of GCCs.
The Pune International Business Summit 2025 is expected to draw significant international attention to the city’s industrial potential, with the participation of key global figures and industry leaders underscoring Pune’s status as a burgeoning business destination.
