Hey there, did you hear about the cat relocation saga in Pune? Well, Bharadwaj asked for some extra time to move the cats to a new spot in Kharadi. The PMC, Hadapsar police, and SPCA all showed up to make sure everything was legit.
Dr. Sarika Funde-Bhosale, the main vet at PMC, made sure to document the whole process and get a written promise from Bharadwaj to follow all the rules from the AWBI and PMC. They’re even planning to swing by the new shelter to make sure the cats are living their best lives and not causing any trouble.
On top of all this drama, the AWBI has called in the Maharashtra Animal Welfare Board to look into Bharadwaj’s claims of being harassed by society members and the cats not being treated right.
It seems like the residents have had enough of the cat situation since last year, complaining about smells, health risks, and just too many cats in one place. Let’s hope everything works out for the kitties!
