Talk about an impressive accolade! On top of that, Preetpal Singh, an alumnus of the AIT 2002 batch, will receive the Successful Young Entrepreneur Award. Looks like AIT has some seriously talented folks in their alumni network!
To add to the excitement, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, GOC-in-C Southern Comd, will grace the event as the Chief Guest. It’s going to be a star-studded affair for sure!
But that’s not all – AIT will also be presenting a whole bunch of awards, including the COAS Best All Around Student Rolling Trophy, Rajput Regiment Trophy for Best Innovation, and GOC-in-C Best Girl student award for Topper in each branch. According to Brig (Rtd) Abhay Bhat, Director of AIT Pune, the institute was established back in 1994 by Gen B.C. Joshi to provide engineering education to the children of Indian Army personnel. And boy, have they come a long way since then! From three engineering programs to now offering five disciplines and even an ME program in Data Science, AIT has truly evolved over the years.
Not to mention, AIT boasts one of the best placement records in Pune, with top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google flocking to their campus every year for recruitment. Looks like AIT is the place to be for aspiring engineers and tech enthusiasts!
So, here’s to AIT and its remarkable journey of 31 years. Cheers to many more years of success and excellence in education!
