The Pune Traffic Police Academy recently wrapped up its first training session, led by top officials in the department. The three-day program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of traffic police personnel on various important aspects of their job.

The training covered a wide range of topics, including soft skills, psychotherapy, motor vehicle laws, emergency response procedures, public interaction, first aid, and e-challan training. It was attended by a total of 65 police officers and officials from the traffic branch.

The academy plans to continue training all traffic police officers and officials over the next 100 days, with a focus on expanding to more technical and advanced modules in the future. The training was well-coordinated by experienced police inspectors and supported by experts in the field.

Experts in traffic management and law enforcement conducted sessions on different subjects, such as traffic laws, emergency response, traffic regulations, and first aid training. Participants were evaluated through tests at the end of the session and received certificates upon successful completion.

This training initiative is expected to greatly improve traffic management, strengthen police-public relations, and enhance the overall efficiency of law enforcement in Pune. Officers will now be better equipped to handle various situations, ensure public safety, and make informed decisions in emergencies.
