Hey Pune peeps, get ready for the annual Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Sohala starting this Saturday (June 29) from Alandi to Pandharpur. But hold up, there’s a twist this year – vehicle entry in Alandi is a no-go zone, except for warkari and essential services vehicles starting from Tuesday (June 25).

Why the sudden change? Well, word on the street is that a massive number of warkaris are expected to join the procession this time around. So, if you’re planning on commuting through Alandi, you might want to consider taking alternative routes, as per the Alandi Police’s advice.

For those of you coming from Chakan or Alandi, be prepared for some detours. Traffic will be redirected through different routes to ease the congestion. And if you’re thinking of driving from Pune, Moshi, Chimbli, or Chakan, you might want to reconsider your plans as certain areas will be off-limits.

So, buckle up folks, and plan your travel accordingly. These traffic diversions will be in place from Tuesday noon (June 25) until 9 pm on Sunday (June 30). Stay safe and enjoy the festivities!
