Hey there, folks of Pune! Looks like the cops in our city have been busy cracking down on vehicle thieves lately. The Faraskhana Police and the Crime Branch’s Anti-Robbery and Vehicle Theft Squad have managed to nab some culprits who were behind the theft of two-wheelers in various parts of our beloved city.
First up, we have Akash Heru Kunchan, a 26-year-old from Bata Galli, Budhwar Peth. This guy has been busy swiping bikes left, right, and center, not just in the city but also in the rural areas. The cops got wind of his location in Dhamdhere Galli, Budhwar Peth and swooped in to arrest him. Turns out, he had four stolen bikes and a bicycle stashed away.
But wait, there’s more! The Crime Branch’s Anti-Robbery and Vehicle Theft Squad also managed to nab Riyaz alias Dadya Shardul Sheikh and Anil Lingayya Bhandari. These two were in the business of stealing two-wheelers from all over Pune and surrounding areas. They had a whopping ten stolen bikes in their possession, worth a cool ₹5.6 lakh.
Kudos to the police personnel involved in these operations, including Vaibhav Swami, Mahesh Rathod, Praveen Pasalkar, Nandkumar Bidwai, Praveen Kalukhe, and many others. It’s heartening to see our law enforcement agencies working tirelessly to keep our city safe from these criminals.
So, folks, keep an eye on your precious two-wheelers and make sure to report any suspicious activity to the authorities. Let’s all do our part in keeping Pune a safe and secure place to live in. Stay safe out there!
