MP Supriya Sule made waves in Saswad on Wednesday during her visit to assess the Purandar taluka. In a fiery press conference following a review meeting, Sule did not hold back in criticizing the government’s handling of key issues, particularly the Beed Sarpanch murder case.

Calling for an independent investigation into the case, Sule slammed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for failing to take action. She also pointed fingers at Dhananjay Munde, demanding that he be named a co-accused due to his questionable connections.

While Sule commended BJP leader Pankaja Munde for apologizing to the victim’s family, she did not hold back in accusing the government of protecting criminals. “Extortion, murder, violence, and farmer fraud—what crime is left to commit?” she questioned, highlighting the disturbing state of affairs in Maharashtra.

Addressing another issue, Sule expressed concern over the delayed recruitment in the Pune Municipal Corporation. With 113 vacant seats and 27,000 applicants waiting, Sule criticized the government for stalling the process. She hinted at potential protests if the recruitment does not move forward soon.

The press conference was attended by key NCP leaders, who stood in solidarity with Sule’s strong statements. The gathering included Manik Zende, Sudamrao Ingle, Vijay Kolte, and others, showing a united front against the government’s inaction.
