Hey there, Pune peeps! Did you hear about the grand Grape Festival that took place at the Shri Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple? Yeah, it was a sight to behold with black and green grapes adorning the entire temple hall. The festival was organized by the Shri Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganapati Trust, with the help of Sahyadri Farms Company from Nashik.
Around 2,000 kilograms of top-notch, chemical-free grapes were generously donated by the farmers from Sahyadri Farms for the decoration. Talk about community spirit, right?
The event was graced by some big shots like the Trust’s President Sunil Rasne and other officials from the Trust and Sahyadri Farms Company. The grapes used for decoration will now be distributed as prasad to devotees, orphanages, senior citizen homes, and Sassoon Hospital. It’s all about spreading joy and good health!
Devotees couldn’t stop gushing over the elaborate grape decoration at the temple. It has become a seasonal tradition that everyone looks forward to every year.
Sahyadri Farms, known as India’s largest exporter of grapes, is doing some amazing work collaborating with over 22,000 farmers. They even produce new patented varieties of grapes. Impressive, right?
Sunil Rasne highlighted the health benefits of grapes according to ancient Indian Ayurveda. Grapes are great for heart health, brain function, and even help with bowel movements and blood deficiencies. Green grapes, in particular, are like little hemoglobin boosters!
So, next time you’re snacking on some grapes, remember the goodness they bring. And who knows, maybe you’ll find yourself at the next Grape Festival, enjoying the beauty and health benefits of those juicy fruits!
