Hey there folks, breaking news coming in from Uruli Kanchan! It seems like the Loni Kalbhor Police and Pune City Crime Branch Unit 6 have caught a man red-handed for some shady business involving domestic gas cylinders.
The man in question, identified as Madan Madhav Bamne, was allegedly transferring gas from domestic and commercial cylinders into other tanks using some sneaky special nozzles. The police swooped in and seized goods worth a whopping ₹2,24,450 during the operation.
According to Police Officer Shekhar Balasaheb Kate, a tip-off led them to a warehouse behind Saisrushti Building in Loni Kalbhor where the illegal gas refilling was taking place. The suspect was apparently refilling gas into tanks of private companies for some black market sales.
In a dramatic raid at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, the police caught Madan Bamne in the act, transferring gas from cylinders left and right. The loot included a bunch of gas cylinders from different companies, along with some nozzles, regulator pipes, and even an electric weighing scale.
The whole operation was led by Assistant Police Inspector Madan Kamble, with a team of dedicated officers and officials from the Haveli Supply Office. And let’s not forget the guidance from Crime Branch Unit 6 Police Inspector Wahid Pathan and Loni Kalbhor Police Station Senior Inspector Rajendra Panhale.
Looks like this case is far from over, with investigations still ongoing. Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping gas cylinder saga!
