Hey there, folks! It was quite the scene at singer Ritviz’s Holi concert in Kharadi yesterday. The event, held at Mayfield Eva Garden, turned into a bit of a mess as a massive crowd tried to push their way in, causing the police to step in and restore order.
The concert, which had attracted a huge number of young people, started off smoothly but things took a turn for the chaotic as entry restrictions led to some unrest. Security personnel had to shut the entrance as the crowd grew, leading to some attendees trying to force their way in. Thankfully, the police were able to prevent any serious incidents from occurring.
In a twist of fate, Punjabi singer Honey Singh was also hosting a Holi event at Mahalaxmi Lawn in Kharadi at the same time. However, it was Ritviz’s concert that saw the larger crowd and the resulting chaos at the entrance of Eva Garden.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 4, Himmat Jadhav, mentioned that the sudden influx of attendees caused panic and some people even tried to break open the gates, which could have led to a stampede. Luckily, the police were able to intervene before things got out of hand.
While no injuries were reported, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of proper crowd management at large-scale events. It’s crucial for event organizers to have better security measures in place to prevent such situations in the future. Stay safe out there, party people!
