Exciting news for healthcare education in Pimpri-Chinchwad as Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital (YCMH) gears up to launch a new nursing college. The Maharashtra government has given the green light for this development, which will offer a four-year BSc Nursing course to 60 students annually. This move is expected to provide much-needed nursing education to students in the area at affordable rates.

But that’s not all – YCMH will also be expanding its paramedical courses, offering programs such as the Bachelor of Paramedical Technology (BPMT) and the Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (PGDMLT). These courses aim to equip students with the necessary skills to meet the increasing demands of the healthcare industry.

According to BJP leader Mahesh Landge, this initiative will not only improve patient care services in the city’s hospitals but also provide better healthcare facilities for the citizens. By training more healthcare professionals, YCMH hopes to enhance its patient care services and ultimately improve healthcare outcomes for the community.

The launch of the nursing college and the expansion of paramedical courses will also bring about various opportunities for local students. They will now have the chance to pursue quality healthcare education without having to leave their hometown, making education more accessible and affordable. Additionally, the increased manpower in the healthcare sector is expected to create more job opportunities in the region, benefiting those in search of employment.
