Hey there, folks! Exciting news coming out of Pune International Airport – the newly constructed terminal is all set to open its doors to the public very soon. Thanks to some quick action by Pune MP and Minister of State (Civil Aviation), Murlidhar Mohol, the necessary CISF manpower for terminal security has been given the green light by the Union Home Ministry.

This is a big deal because the Modi government had already inaugurated the new terminal to keep up with the growing demand for flights from Pune. But the opening was delayed due to not having enough CISF staff on hand. Minister Mohol wasted no time in getting the ball rolling on this issue and even had a personal meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah to make it happen.

And guess what? The efforts paid off! A total of 222 different CISF positions have been approved for Pune Airport, covering various roles and bringing the total CISF manpower to 715. This means that the new terminal can finally open without any further delays. Minister Mohol expressed his gratitude to Home Minister Amit Shah for his support in making this happen.

But that’s not all – Minister Mohol has been on a roll since taking over the Civil Aviation Ministry. In just two weeks, he managed to resolve some critical issues like the feasibility study survey for runway extension and relocating damaged Air India aircraft parking to the Air Force premises.

Looks like things are really taking off at Pune Airport, pun intended! Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development.
