The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has recently taken action against a former Deputy Director of Land Records in Nagpur, Dadabhau Sonu Talpe, and his wife, Kalpana Dadabhau Talpe, for allegedly amassing wealth beyond their known sources of income. The case has been filed under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code at Yerawda Police Station.

The couple, residents of Harmus Heritage in Yerawda, are accused of accumulating unaccounted assets, with the complaint being lodged by ACB Police Inspector Pravin Nimbalkar. An investigation was triggered following a complaint received at the ACB office regarding properties acquired by Talpe during his tenure as Deputy Director.

During the open investigation conducted by the ACB, it was revealed that Dadabhau Talpe had illicitly earned a substantial amount while working in the Land Records Department, with his wife allegedly assisting in acquiring unaccounted assets. The investigation also mentioned that Talpe was encouraged to commit the crime.

Further investigation into this matter is currently underway by Police Inspector Shriram Shinde, with the Pune unit of ACB leading the charge under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Amol Tambe and other officials. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
