Hey there, folks! We’ve got some shocking news coming out of Yerwada today. Dnyaneshwar Nivritti Waghmare, a 44-year-old man, tragically passed away after a brutal assault by four individuals. The incident went down on June 19 while Waghmare was doing some repair work near Kasturba Society in Vishrantwadi.
So, what went down? Well, it seems that mud accidentally splashed onto the accused as they walked by, which led to a heated confrontation. Things quickly escalated, and Waghmare ended up getting attacked with stones, leaving him seriously injured.
The Yerwada Police Station wasted no time getting involved, and two of the accused, Raj Pardeshi and Pranav Antre, were promptly arrested. A minor was also taken into custody, but the fourth suspect, Chaitanya Salve, is currently on the run.
Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Waghmare sadly didn’t make it and passed away on Tuesday night at Sassoon Hospital. The police have now slapped murder charges on the accused individuals, so it looks like things are about to get serious.
