The Punit Balan Group, known for its various educational, religious, and social activities, took on the task of renovating the ancient temple. Located in Navi Peth, the temple also houses deities of Shri Hanuman, Shri Dnyaneshwar Mauli, and Shri Tukaram Maharaj.
Devotees from all over the city flock to the temple, especially on Ekadashi days like Ashadhi Ekadashi and Kartiki Ekadashi. The recent renovation work was inaugurated by Punit Balan and Janhavi Dhariwal-Balan, who performed the Puja and Aarti. The event was attended by trustees, prominent citizens, former Mayor Ankush Kakade, and devotees from various backgrounds.
