Hey there folks, looks like there’s been some major action taken in the drug mafia Lalit Patil escape case in Pune. Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar has given the boot to two policemen from the Pune City Police Force. Yup, you read that right – they’ve been dismissed.

Apparently, some police officials and personnel were suspended in connection to the case, but these two were found guilty in the inquiry and got the axe. A bunch of people, including hospital staff and other cops, have been charge-sheeted in this whole mess. The Crime Branch even filed a charge sheet that’s a whopping 3,150 pages long. That’s a lot of paperwork, folks.

The two dismissed officers, Adesh Shivankar and Pirappa Bansode, have been accused of helping Lalit Patil escape while he was in Sassoon Hospital. They’ve been kicked out of their jobs for their role in this whole fiasco. Patil was at the hospital for treatment when he made a run for it, but thankfully, he was later caught.

During the investigation, it was revealed that these two officers didn’t even go with Patil to get his X-ray done. And to make matters worse, they didn’t report his escape in a timely manner, which could have led to his capture. Talk about dropping the ball, right?

Well, looks like the authorities are cracking down on those who let criminals slip through the cracks. Stay tuned for more updates on this case, folks.
