The incident occurred at 6:44 AM in the boys’ hostel area, sending students into a frenzy. But fear not, the Pune Fire Brigade came to the rescue in no time. Talk about being on the ball!
It turns out that the fire originated from a CT meter on the hostel’s exterior wall. Can you imagine the noise and commotion it must have caused? Luckily, the college staff sprang into action and managed to control the flames using fire extinguishers before the firefighters arrived.
Hats off to firefighters Sagar Devkule, Mahendra Sakpal, Umesh Shinde, Sagar Patil, and Vijay Waghmare for their quick response and efficient handling of the situation. They made sure to extinguish the fire completely, preventing any further damage. Kudos to these heroes!
Not to be outdone, personnel from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited’s Parvati Division also arrived promptly on the scene. They inspected the site and took necessary follow-up measures to ensure everyone’s safety. Phew, crisis averted!
