Hey Pune, get ready for some good news! The new terminal at Pune International Airport is finally set to open soon. After some delays, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel are now in place and the final technical processes are wrapping up. Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, Muralidhar Mohol, has announced that the new terminal will open its doors on Sunday, 14th July, giving passengers some much-needed relief.

The initial delay in opening the new terminal was due to a shortage of CISF personnel and other technical issues. This caused inconvenience to passengers who were eagerly awaiting the upgraded facilities. But Minister Mohol didn’t let that stand in the way. He met with Home Minister Amit Shah to speed up the deployment of more CISF personnel, and now they’re ready to go at Pune Airport.

Minister Mohol shared, “CISF personnel have arrived at Pune Airport, and the installation of the inland baggage system in the new terminal has been completed. The final technical processes are underway, and we’re on track to open the new terminal on 14th July.” And to mark the occasion, Mohol will be personally handing out the first boarding pass at the new terminal to Air India passengers at 1 PM on the big day.

So mark your calendars, Pune residents! The new terminal at Pune International Airport will be up and running on 14th July, bringing a fresh start to air travel in the city. Get ready to experience the upgraded facilities and smoother processes at the airport. It’s time to fly high with the new terminal!
