Hey there, Pune folks! Have you heard about the recent crackdown on two-wheeler riders at Vetal Tekdi? It seems like the Forest Department is finally taking action against the youngsters who have been causing a ruckus on their bikes up there.

Apparently, five youths were detained for their hooliganism and will be facing consequences under the Forest Act. It’s been reported that despite the ban on two-wheelers at Vetal Tekdi, some daredevils still make their way up with their bikes, disturbing both the wildlife and other visitors.

Forest Officer Pradeep Sankapal has even set up a special helpline (74 7878 9797) for citizens to report any such behavior on any hill around the city. So, if you see someone revving their engine where they shouldn’t be, make sure to give them a call.

The action taken against the bikers was carried out by a team of forest officials, led by Deputy Conservator of Forest Mahadev Mohite. The culprits were caught red-handed, riding their bikes and causing a commotion at Vetal Tekdi.

Sankpal has also urged citizens to steer clear of riding two-wheelers on Vetal Tekdi and to avoid entering the water in the abandoned mine, as it poses a serious risk to life. Remember, safety first!

So, Pune peeps, let’s do our part in preserving the beauty of Vetal Tekdi and report any mischievous behavior to the Forest Department. Let’s keep our hills clean and peaceful for everyone to enjoy.
