- Big News in Viman Nagar! Pune Airport is all set to unveil its brand new Integrated Terminal Building this Sunday, 14th July 2024. The inauguration ceremony will be graced by none other than Minister Murlidhar Mohol, who oversees Civil Aviation and Cooperation. Exciting stuff!
- Get ready to see some action in the skies as Air India and Air India Express will be the first airlines to start operating from the swanky new building. Their flights, AI – 858 to Delhi and I5 320 to Bhubaneswar, will take off at 4 pm and 4.10 pm respectively. It’s time for Viman Nagar to take flight!
- But wait, there’s more! To ensure smooth traffic flow during the transition phase, some changes have been made to the vehicle movement plan at Pune Airport. For passengers using the new terminal, there’s a new entry checkpoint for both departures and arrivals. Departing passengers will stick to the left lanes, while arrivals will use the right lanes. Easy peasy!
- As for passengers still using the existing terminal building, fear not. The entry and exit points remain the same, but there’s a twist. To keep things running smoothly, the traffic from the old building will merge into the arrival lane of the new terminal. And then, it’s off to either Viman Nagar road or Symbiosis/Lohegaon road. Choices, choices!
